A direct line to your residents. Free.
mylo gives your town a verified presence alongside the businesses and events people look for nearby — managed by your own staff.
Everything residents need to hear from you
Updates and notices
Two kinds of town notices — Priority for time-sensitive updates like road closures and snow days, and Notice for routine announcements. Residents turn on the ones they want, in mylo and as push notifications. Residents who follow your town also hear about your updates and events.
A services menu you curate
Put the information people care about most one tap away: trash and recycling, permits, meeting agendas, recreation programs, visitor information, or whatever your community keeps asking about. Your staff can update it whenever you like, and links and PDFs open right inside mylo.
Your official calendar
Connect the calendar you already publish and mylo keeps it in sync automatically, alongside a separate community calendar for local events. Residents can add any event to their phone.
Nothing for residents to hunt for
When residents are in town, your updates, notices, and calendar show up in mylo automatically. No page to find, nothing extra to download.
mylo complements your town's website and emergency notification system — it doesn't replace them.
Reading, Massachusetts
Reading is the first town to join mylo as a participating community. Once the Town's account is up and running, Reading residents will get Town updates, events, and notices right alongside the local businesses around them.

Common questions
What does it cost?
Today, there's no cost for a town to join mylo: the verified account, updates and notices, services links, and calendar sync are all included at no charge. Local businesses pay a flat monthly fee to reach nearby customers. A town that keeps its residents informed makes mylo better for everyone in it.
Does it replace our website or emergency alerts?
No. mylo is another place residents can hear from you — it works alongside your website, newsletters, and emergency notification system.
What do our staff need?
Just a web browser. Town posts, notices, services links, and the calendar are all managed from the mylo partner portal, and we'll show your team around.
Who sees what we post?
Anyone using mylo in your town sees your updates and events nearby — they don't have to find you first. Residents who follow your town see your posts first and can get notified when you post. Notices are sent to every resident who has turned them on.
